Design Group Report Informative and Useful - I have spoken to Steve Wilson today and have also been asked to comment on the report. The report gave me an insight into what kind and how much research goes into starting this kind of project. The research was very informative and useful. It helped me understand the concept of rules and regulations that barrier a product to market
Review - Firstly, the reason why I chose your organisation in the first place was because your website seemed the most sincere and professional. It provided a little history and background information about DMG, which I found very interesting. It captured my attention, where other organizations failed.
Secondly, the form DMG provides on its website to enable initial concepts to be presented is extremely user friendly and not too time consuming to fill in. This made my decision easy in taking the first step in presenting the idea. Should the form have been an irksome task, I may have never taken or completed that first step in the process.When I received a call a few days after submitting my concept, I had no idea with whom I was speaking to, as these things normally sit in
a whole for a very long time. Plus responses tend to be automated, so I was very surprised at not only the speed of your response, but the interpersonal aspect involved, which is so rare, especially when you are dealing with clients from across the Atlantic.Once we started engaging in conversation and the regularity in which we talked, I began to see how professional you are as an organisation. So your level of communication has been exceptional. You have kept me up to date on everything you have been doing thus
far, which gives me peace great of and confidence in what you are doing. The work you have produced around my concept has been amazing and truly impressive.
Clearly the team has spent alot of time pulling together the final results for each step in the process. OTHER ISSUES If there is a criticism, it is a very small one and it is not because of you, it is more to do with the way the human mind thinks. When sending letters you tend to place a 'Confidential' marking on the back of the envelope.
Some people in seeing this marking will be very keen to know what is in the package.
You may have other reasons for using this marking, which is justifiable. CONCLUSION At this stage I feel you have been extremely thorough and professional and it’s been great fun seeing how you have shaped my concept. The whole process has been really exciting and regardless of whether the concept takes off or not I am simply enjoying the experience of working with your team
